The Red Sleeve and All of Us Are Dead took home the Best Hallyu Drama Award at the Seoul International Drama Awards 2022.

The ceremony was held on the afternoon of the 22nd at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul, where MBC’s The Red Sleeve and Netflix’s All of Us Are Dead were honored as the top winners in the Hallyu drama category.

Director Jung Ji-in of The Red Sleeve expressed heartfelt gratitude, saying,
“Never in my life did I imagine I would receive awards this continuously. I want to extend my sincere thanks to our writer and actors. I’m especially thrilled to receive this award alongside Director Lee Jae-gyu of Damo, a series I truly love.”

Director Lee Jae-gyu of All of Us Are Dead added,
“My heart is racing. As we become adults, those moments that make our hearts pound or flutter tend to disappear. We often comfort ourselves by saying we’re making safe choices, but sometimes we long for the past. In that sense, making All of Us Are Dead was full of thrilling, heart-pounding moments despite the challenges and difficult decisions. We will continue striving to create fun, meaningful, and even better stories.”

All of Us Are Dead, which gained massive popularity after its release in January, is set to return with Season 2 in 2023.
